Stephen Anderson writes that “I’m enjoying retirement because I keep busy volunteering. Ed Rooney (former Chicago Daily News award winning reporter now deceased) told me once that, if retired, one should get out of the house every day. So I do, almost every day.”
His main diversion is volunteering for the Swedish American Museum where he welcomes visitors a few days each month and writes the Museum news releases nearly every week. He also has had articles published in history publications, attends meetings at the Union League Club and enjoys concerts, theatre and all of those good activities.
Stephen is past secretary and former board member of the Chicago Journalists Association, editor of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and public relations director for the Illinois Bar Association.
