The Chicago Journalists Association recognizes excellence in journalism, promotes professional development and
fosters camaraderie among journalists in the Chicago area. Our membership includes journalists working in
print, broadcast and online platforms, media and communications professionals,
journalism educators and college journalism students.
Originally called the Chicago Press Veterans Association, CJA was founded in 1939.
