CJA has joined forces with Freedom of the Press Foundation and more than 20 other local and national press freedom and civil liberties groups to demand protection and justice for independent journalists who are risking their safety to inform the public about immigration protests.

We continue to stand with journalists everywhere. They should be free to exercise their First Amendment right to freedom of the press without intimidation, whether they’re fully employed by a news organization or practicing independently.
